Boyertown wins 9th straight behind Salata; Methacton floors Norristown

Boyertown 39, Perkiomen Valley 38 – Aarick Salata collected 15 points, hitting 7 of 8 free throws, to lead the Bears to their ninth straight victory Friday night in PAC Liberty action.
Chris Kiefer added 8 points, Tre Diguglielmo chipped in with 7 and Alex Obarow cashed 6 for Boyertown, which built an 18-11 halftime lead and held off the Vikings down the stretch.
For Perk Valley, which had a four-game winning streak snapped, Tyler Lapetina connected for 13 points with three triples and Kameron Parks added 11.

Methacton 68, Norristown 48 – The Warriors unveiled their new home floor with pizazz, breezing past the Eagles in PAC Liberty action.
Brett Eberly cashed 16 points, Eric Timko dropped 15, Jeff Woodward and Owen Kropp hit for 13 apiece and Ryan Baldwin added 9 for Methacton, which extended a 19-11 first-quarter lead to 35-22 at the break and was never seriously challenged down the stretch.
For Norristown, Willie Anderson, Nizer Kinney and Chris DiNolfi combined for 30 points.
