Boys hoops: Wooward, Timko, Kropp pace streaking Methacton; Norristown's Anderson drops 25 on Perkiomen Valley

Methacton 70, Perkiomen Valley 47 – Jeff Woodward cashed a game-high 21 points, Erik Timko added 18 and Owen Kropp chipped in with 13 as the Warriors extended their winning streak to 13 with the wire-to-wire PAC Liberty victory Friday night.
For the Vikings, who were within 23-17 after one quarter before Methacton pulled away with a 32-19 run in the middle periods to go up 55-36, Tyler Lapetina hit for 17 points and Aidan Gansz contributed 16.

Norristown 58, Owen J. Roberts 42 – Willie Anderson exploded for 25 points and Nizer Kinney added 12 as the Eagles rode a dominating second half to the PAC Liberty victory.
Locked in a 29-29 standoff at the break, Norristown took charge with a 15-7 run in the third quarter before closing things out with a 14-6 edge in the fourth quarter.
Nick Fanucci hit three treys and finished with a team-high 15 points for the Wildcats, who kept things close by knocking down 7 three-balls.
