The Perk Valley defense, which did a good job containing Connor Lynch, Tommy Bodenschatz and Andrew Merchant, made the lone strike hold up, with Holmes, Trey Busedu and Steve Warren headlining the shutdown performance.
Michael Renner earned the clean sheet with 5 saves.

PJP and Phoenixville were both late arrivals on the PAC fall sports scene. Initially, PJP was a non-participant in all fall sports until the Philadelphia Archdiocese ended the ban several weeks ago. Phoenixville was limited to girls tennis and boys and girls golf at the start until reversing field and deciding to play all fall sports with the exception of football.

Aidan Kollar assisted on DePorry’s goal with 49.6 seconds left before the break to give OJR all it would need.
The Cats, who held an 8-5 advantage in shots, were led by a stingy defense anchored by keeper Andrew Keddie (5 saves).
