Boys soccer: Spring-Ford blanks Pope John Paul II for 5th straight triumph

ROYERSFORD –Defending Pioneer Athletic Conference boys soccer champion is starting to get its swerve on.

The Rams extended their winning streak to five Wednesday night at Coach McNelly Stadium with a 2-0 PAC-10 inter-divisional conquest of Pope John Paul II.

Nick Bombard and Josh Dishman collected goals while Austin Raser and Will Kelleher came up with assists to help Spring-Ford improve to 5-1-2 in the league and 6-2-2 overall.

The Golden Panthers, who were outshot 9-2 but held a 5-4 advantage in corners, fell to 1-6 in the league and overall.
