Girls hoops: Olsen drops 24 in Spring-Ford romp; Pope John Paul II pummels Pottstown

Spring-Ford 61, Owen J. Roberts 28 – The Rams stayed perfect in three starts behind Lucy Olsen’s game-high 24 points and a swift start that produced an insurmountable 34-15 halftime lead Wednesday night.
Anna Azzara added 15 points and Emily Tiffan hit for 13 to bolster the Spring-Ford effort while Avery White keyed the Wildcats with 13 points.

Pope John Paul II 70, Pottstown 33 – Amelia Kennedy collected a game-high 22 points and Kallan Bustynowicz posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds to carry the Golden Panthers to the easy PAC Frontier victory.
Also for PJP, which raced out to leads of 18-2 after one quarter and 35-7 at the break, Tess Crossan cashed 12 points, Kayla Ciuba also scored in double figures with 10, Hailey Jackson grabbed 10 rebounds and Lainey Owens collected 6 steals.
For the Trojans, Trinell Watson finished with 19 points and Calista Daye also hit double figures with 12.
