Girls soccer: Spring-Ford, Upper Perkiomen net nonleague wins

Spring-Ford 1, WC Rustin 0 – Ally McVey found the back of the net with a chip shot after a long run that began with a cross from Raven Wellington to boost the Rams to the narrow victory in West Chester Tuesday.
Spring-Ford improved to 3-0 despite several near misses at building on their one-goal lead, including an Ella Curry shot that clanged off the right post. Keeper Riley Wallace recorded the clean sheet with several acrobatic saves and consistent control of the air balls.
 
Upper Perkiomen 3, Kutztown 0 – Kate Cairns scored once in each half, both on assists from Hannah Keeney, as the Indians dominated from start to finish to improve to 2-1 on the season. Upper Perk, which held a 20-1 shot advantage, got its other goal from Kyra Lesko off a Bryanna Marinari assist.
