Girls soccer wrap: Beidler, Crawford power Boyertown; Upper Perkiomen completes perfect week

Boyertown 1, Perkiomen Valley 0 – Emma Beidler snapped a scoreless tie with a goal in the 43rd minute and Ashlyn Crawford posted the clean sheet with 7 saves to lead the defending PAC and state champion Bears to the triumph Saturday.
Riley Hill posted 6 saves and 12 touches for the Vikings, who were outshot 15-7 and finished with an 11-7 deficit in corner kicks.

Upper Perkiomen 3, Methacton 0 – The Indians completed a perfect week by blanking the Warriors, keyed by a balanced scoring attack and a stingy defense headlined by Kate Cairns, Erin Edwards and keeper Gabby Neal (4 saves).
Emily Schaut broke the ice with a strike in the 8th minute to provide a 1-0 lead for UP at the break that was expanded by second-half goals from Sarah Fisher and Kyra Lesko.
