Pottsgrove ran the table at the six-team event at Upper Merion, posting wins over Upper Moreland 42-36, Norristown 54-20, host Upper Merion 71-10, CB West 51-30 and Archbishop Carroll 78-6. 
The Falcons got perfect 5-0 records from Charles Sithens (138/145, 4 pins – 0:18, 0:21, 1:37, 4:30), Josh Cerrito (145/152, 3 pins – 0:25, 0:35, 1:32), Stephen Hennelly (160/170, 4 pins – 1:13, 2:36, 1:11, 1:59; tech fall) and Zach Van Horn (220, 4 pins – 0:58, 1:08, 1:32, 1:29).
Finishing the day 4-1 for the Grove were Tony Lindgren (106), Trenton Allen (126), Shane Caffrey (152/160) and Manny Allen (285).
Norristown went 3-2 in the round-robin event with wins over Upper Merion 55-17, Archbishop Carroll 63-9 and CB West 51-30 and losses to Upper Moreland 45-29 and Pottsgrove.
Isaiah Tucker (132, 5-0, pin, 2 majors, tech fall) and Kyle Duong (160/170, 4-0, 3 pins) had unbeaten performances for the Eagles, who also got 4-1 showings from Sean Cawley (145/152, 2 pins, tech fall) and Todd Picard (182, pin, 3 forfeits).
Also, Collin Power (126, 4-0 with major, pin, tech fall) and Sean Williams (138, 3-0 with 3 pins) led the way for host Upper Merion, which went 1-4 with its lone victory coming over Archbishop Carroll and losses at the hands of Norristown, Pottsgrove, CB West 43-27 and Upper Moreland 45-24. Posting 2-2 marks on the day for the Vikings were Ayden Cheng (132/138) and Miguel Amor (152).
 
Spring-Ford 50, Easton 17 – The Rams took four of the final five matches with three pins to record the nonleague verdict Saturday.
Quinn Tobin (132), Zach Needles (145) and Jack McGill (152) posted falls along with Xavier Cushman’s match-capping major decision at 160. Louis Carbajal (195) and Sean Brogan (220) had early pins for Spring-Ford while Joey Milano picked up a major decision at 182.
 
Beast of the East
Pope John Paul II participated in the traditional wrestling showcase at the University of Delaware over the weekend, and got just one win – from Matt Vulakh (132) in the opening round. Vulakh finished 1-2 in the event, falling in Consolation Round 2 along with Golden Panthers teammates Nick Tongo (113) and Jacob Rau (195).
