Perk Valley's Warren steals show at Ursinus meet

COLLEGEVILLE – Perkiomen Valley sophomore Christina Warren stole the show at the Ursinus College High School Invitational over the weekend.
Warren placed first in the long jump (18-02.75) and triple jump (38-09) while grabbing the silver in the 55-meter hurdles (8.12) to headline the PAC effort.
Other top PAC finishers at the 71-school meet included Pottsgrove junior Miazziah Rose (1st in high jump, 5-1; 5th in triple jump, 33-06), Boyertown senior Rebecca Hemingway (3rd in high jump, 4-11; 4th in long  jump, 17-00.25) and Spring-Ford senior Chad Smiley (3rd, pole vault, 12-0). Boyertown’s Dominic DeRafelo was third in the 3,200 (9:23.40), just ahead of Spring-Ford’s Shane Ainscoe(9:25.89).
