Spring-Ford's Pascual ousted in district singles

SPRINGFIELD - Two-time PAC singles champion Malchu Pascual of Spring-Ford came up short of qualifying for the PIAA championships Saturday at the District 1-AAA boys tournament at the Healthplex.

The eighth-seeded Pascual lost to top-seeded and eventual finalist Tristan Bradley of Unionville 6-1, 6-1 in the district quarterfinals before falling to Radnor’s Max Safanov, the tournament’s No. 5 seed, 6-4, 6-1 in the consolation round.
