Spring-Ford 4, Pennsbury 2 – Maddie Walsh slammed a solo home run and the Rams used a three-run third inning to secure the nonleague win in the season opener for both teams Monday.
Also for Spring-Ford, leadoff hitter Bridget Sharkey had two of the Rams' seven hits to back the complete-game pitching of Sam Lindsay, who struck out 8 while allowing just four hits and one earned run.

Phoenixville 14, Harriton 4, 6 innings – Susan Duncan went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, Hayden Perrone belted a solo homer and Katherine Rutledge went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored for the Phantoms in their season-opening win.
Picking up the win in the circle was Kendall Brown, who struck out 10 while allowing three hits and three earned runs without a walk.
